Anglesea was established in 2021 by Nicholas O’Gorman, a highly experienced and trusted deal veteran.
For over 25 years, Nicholas has advised leading Irish and international corporates across multiple sectors on a host of complex transactions in mergers, acquisitions, sales and debt & equity advisory.
Prior to commencing Anglesea, Nicholas was a Director of Davy Corporate Finance where he specialised in M&A, MBOs and Debt & Equity Advisory. Before joining Davy in 2007, Nicholas spent 5 years with AIB Corporate Finance and prior to that, was with KPMG Corporate Finance, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Passionate about corporate finance and his client's businesses, Nicholas’s approach to transactions is highly collaborative and detail orientated to achieve creative solutions for clients. His style is straight-talking and focus is to achieve the best possible result for clients on transactions.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD, an MSc in Finance from the Smurfit Graduate School of Business and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (‘FCA’).
